Empowering the Future: Support Girls of Steel Robotics!
At Girls of Steel, our mission is clear: we're on a journey to fostering unwavering confidence in individuals of all backgrounds, with a special focus on girls, gender non-conforming individuals, and other underrepresented communities, to believe in their ability to thrive in the world of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics). How do we make this happen? By equipping them with essential skills, nurturing their mechanical, technical, leadership, and teamwork abilities through the building of awesome robots, and championing an environment of equality and respect.
Our commitment to this cause is year-round, as we passionately drive our robotics and STEM program forward. Today, we're proud to have over forty girls in grades 9-12 as active participants in our FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) team, fifteen 7th-10th grade girls on our three FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) teams, and grades K-8, engaging in smaller-scale LEGO robotics projects and exciting competitions.
Now, we're turning to you for support, with a goal of raising $10,000. These funds will help cover critical operating costs, including robot parts and technical supplies essential for building our robots.
